A way to share vegetable plants.
It all started when…
I first started sharing vegetable plants on the farm table in front of my home about 4 years ago when so many were staying home and deciding that they would like to try gardening.
I’ve grown vegetables everywhere I’ve lived since I was a child, so I have some experience, mostly successful (so far!).
Awhile back, I worked for a commercial nursery for a few years, where I transplanted and grew to marketable size tiny tissue cultured perennials (essentially the premature babies of plants).
From that commercial experience, I became more comfortable growing hundreds of plants rather than the few I actually need for my own garden.
I have a small greenhouse (that is now packed with shelves and lights) where I can start all of the seeds in a controlled situation.
Growing some of your own food is a satisfying experience, even if it is only a few pots of herbs that you snip for your salads and pasta dishes.
I am pleased to be able to share so many vegetable plants, allowing anyone to experience a little bit of life as a farmer. Enjoy!
